The amount of sucking out that happens on this site is unlike any of the others I have played. I understand I am no poker god, but I do recognize patterns, and understand statistics. So I tried it out for myself and this is my opinion.
I reached out to this community to ask the validity of Global and not many had anything good to say about it, but none had anything all that terrible to say either. I have not seen Global poker advertised as a good place to play by anyone other than affiliates of Global Poker, not on Reddit, or anywhere else. The reason I didn't raise pre flop with the QQ was because I don't like playing big pot hands on sites I don't know well until I get to the river. That was my second hand at that stake level, was just feeling it out. Of course getting sucked out on sucks, but I just don't know if that's it here. Maybe potting it on the turn wasn't a great idea, but I assumed strength because he wasn't trying to push me off of flush draw if he did in fact have the nut straight that came out on the flop. Thanks for all the feedback I suppose! I do not think this loss was my fault, I honestly don't think anyone of you here would have laid that hand down.
Oh I fully understand variance, just seems incredibly suspect to me. I had just moved t the higher stakes to mess around and see if I could catch a good hand. Definitely done using their services.Įdit: I forgot to mention that this was the second hand that I had played on this table. If there is anyone who is able to dig deeper than I am that would be fantastic. I'm not too mad about my losses taken through Global since they have been minimal, but I think that this site at least deserves our attention. Honestly I think that it is worth investigation from anyone who is worthy. Far too often it is more wise to pay the ludicrous hands and one outters. Now mind you I fully understand that this is a very possible situation to have happen, however these situations seem to happen consistently in Global Poker. Jump into a higher stakes game just to see if I can poke at some of the players there. So I was on a decent run throughout the night and figured I would play a little right before I crash.
